Do not bait or feed the trolls. Do not approve trolls on your own threads, merely to bait them. Remember that you’re the curator of the discussion you began -- think about who you want featured alongside you. 

Alternately, consider before dismissing a well-reasoned argument that challenges your view. If you dismiss them rather than replying, their contribution could end up gathering more steam and higher placement than your original thread.
