Select the “Password” link in your member profile to alter your old password.
 
You can generate a lost password reset if you signed up with an email address or attached one to your account. If so, click “Login” at the top of the page, then choose the “Reset Password” option. Enter the associated email and hit "reset." You'll be automatically sent a message with a new password.

If you have signed up via Twitter, please contact help@gawker.com to receive a new temporary password.

Regarding Facebook accounts: We cannot manually change passwords linked to Facebook accounts. Those logins and passwords depend on Facebook, so if you would like to alter your Gawker Media password you’ll have to first change your Facebook password.
